The Role
The Programme Coordinator works with the organization's Senior Management to develop and implement VOM’s programs and priority projects.
Your Responsibilities
Conducts needs assessments and gathers data to inform program requirements.
Partners with the Counselling Psychologist to review current programs and develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
Organizes and coordinates programs, projects and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
Develops appropriate budget and operating plans for the implementation of VOM’s programs.
Tracks the implementation progress against plan, identifies gaps, constraints, and risks to plan.
Manages project risks and facilitates forums and processes to mitigate risks.
Defines supporting program controls including policies, procedures, processes and reports.
Liaise and supervise project teams.
Liaises with VOM’s program stakeholders to stay abreast of ongoing issues that impacts the program.
Schedules VOM’s program steering committee meetings.

CASEWORKER
At Vision on Mission, we are looking for a Caseworker to join our team.

The Role
The Case Worker will be responsible for assisting clients to cope with a variety of problems they may face during their re-integrative journey. The Case Worker will be responsible for ongoing comprehensive case management services to include detailed intake, assessment, counselling, education, crisis intervention and referral services for the organization’s clientele and their families. This role also requires weekly travel to VOM’s in-prison program and its facilities. In addition, flexibility in working beyond normal working hours will be necessary at times.
Your Responsibilities
Complete detailed intakes and assessments of new clients and determine best approach most beneficial to clients
Conduct follow-up interactions with clients through effective case management and maintenance of precise documenting of all interactions
Develop and provide targeted, individually tailored, case plans for clients in our pre-release program and residents/clients housed at the In-transit Center facilities, to guide their reintegration back into the community
Maintain and update confidential client case files and computer-based database, and complete case notes and progress reports on a timely basis
Conduct home and job site visits periodically and make any recommendations as required
Coordinate administrative and travel arrangements to facilitate clients’ needs (e.g. obtaining identification documents, employment, accommodation, training etc.)
Develop and facilitate informational, educational, supportive and awareness-raising activities, group sessions and workshops among targeted clientele/residents and other stakeholders of VOM services
Develop productive, change-promoting relationships with offenders and their families in a way that decreases resistance and increases their resiliency
Model professionalism and ethical behavior during all supervision contacts; Exemplify the pro-social attitudes and behaviors that we expect offenders to exhibit, and work with them during these encounters to practice effective problem-solving and other social work skills
Collaborate closely with local authorities and other service providers and make referrals to other agencies as necessary to meet clients’ needs.
Work closely with existing service providers including, schools, government agencies, training facilities and employers to engage the target group in education, training and employment
Schedule and document client referrals for placement at other social service institutions, as needed
Participate in case review discussions and other official procedures with relevant staff in the organization as well as actively participate in staff meetings as scheduled
Perform other related duties as may be assigned

Highly developed knowledge in casework methods and techniques in serving the homeless, vulnerable, and ‘at-risk’ population with an ability to coordinate ongoing case practice and services for clients.

The Executive Project Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution and management of our projects. The individual in this role will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties related to our organization's projects.
Your Responsibilities
Perform all administrative tasks associated with the organization's projects, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to deadlines.
Prepare and draft all correspondence, memos, and official documents, maintaining accuracy and professionalism in written communications.
Take meeting minutes and distribute them to relevant stakeholders and/or management, ensuring clear and concise documentation of discussions and action items.
Prepare CEPEP timesheets on a fortnightly basis, accurately recording and reporting hours worked by employees.
Complete basic financial reports related to the organization's farm, maintaining its financial records, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
Order and maintain the supply inventory for Vision on Mission Enterprises Limited (VOMEL), monitoring stock levels and coordinating with suppliers as needed.
Collaborate with the Farm Manager to prepare agriculture reports, providing necessary data and insights for submission to Management.
Execute any other duties assigned within the scope of the role, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in meeting organizational needs.
