Vision on Mission Participates in the Guyana Prison Service Conference 2025
Vision on Mission was honored to participate and facilitate at the Guyana Prison Service (GPS) Conference 2025, held from March 6th to 8th. The event, themed “Changing Mindsets & Culture in Corrections,” brought together key stakeholders, policymakers, and experts dedicated to reforming the correctional landscape in the Caribbean.
The conference provided a valuable platform for discussions on progressive correctional practices, emphasizing rehabilitation, restorative justice, and the integration of community-based correctional programs. As an organization committed to transforming lives through reintegration and rehabilitation, Vision on Mission was privileged to contribute to these vital conversations and share insights on best practices.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Guyana Prison Service for the opportunity to collaborate and exchange ideas on advancing the correctional system. Our participation reaffirmed our dedication to advocating for more humane and effective correctional strategies, not only in Trinidad & Tobago but throughout the wider Caribbean region.
Looking ahead, Vision on Mission remains committed to fostering change by working closely with regional stakeholders to promote restorative justice, enhance rehabilitation programs, and support community corrections. We are inspired by the collective efforts of our partners and look forward to continued collaboration to build safer and more rehabilitative correctional systems.
